Celebrated American bishop Thomas Jake popularly known as TD Jakes has handed the women's ministry to his daughter, Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts.

The Ministry, known as - Woman, Thou Art Loosed, is a women's conference that brings women from across the world ... and was started in 1996. 

Jakes called his daughter to the stage to receive the anointing as the leader of the next women's generation minister. 

"You are the flesh of my flesh, the blood of my blood, none of that is the reason why you are standing here," he said. 

While presenting her to the congregation, Jakes said it was a time for him to decrease so that Sarah can increase.  

"I think the time has come that I must decrease so that you may increase, I am proud of who you are, just not what you do," he said. 

"This is not an inheritance, this is a calling, you are not standing on this stage for family legacy,  this is not a favor but a divine assignment that women must evolve," he said as the congregation cheered him

Sarah Jakes is popularly known for her preaching ministry, particularly women's ministry, with a program known as "Women Evolve".

With the anointing, she will lead both the "Woman Evolve" and "Woman, Thou Art Loosed" passed to her.  By Manny Anyango, The Star
