He simultaneously ordered the removal of the United States Naval blockade, stating: "I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade."
Trump signalled the resumption of energy shipments through the vital waterway, writing: "Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!" He did not provide additional details regarding the agreement's implementation timeline.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced early Monday that both sides have agreed to the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon. "Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED," Sharif said on X. He added that the official signing ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 19 in Switzerland.
