The Tanzanian and Kenyan presidents in separate message congratulated Raisi on his victory in last month's presidential election in Iran.

Last Thursday, President of the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) Denis Sassou Nguesso and Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina congratulated in separate messages Iran's President-elect Ebrahim Raisi on his victory in Iran's 13th Presidential election.

Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso congratulated Raisi on his election as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on his own and Croatian people and government's behalf.

He hoped that both countries would cooperate to boost friendly ties during Raisi's term.

The Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina, too, congratulated Raisi on his own and Croatian people and government's behalf.

Rjoeline said that he firmly believed that there would be good opportunity to consolidate cooperation and friendship ties between Iran and Madagascar during Raisi's term.

He emphasized joint efforts to boost bilateral ties in the framework of interests and welfare of the people of both countries.

Former Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi was elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a June 18 presidential election, scoring 63 percent of votes. - IRNA
