A conference to examine the effects of colonialism and neo-colonialism on Africa takes place this Saturday, 1st May 2021. The event is hosted by this newspaper (Informer East Africa) and News of the South Newspaper. The events will start at 11:50 and finish at 4 PM UK time.

The conference already exciting many will bring together Africans and non-Africans to discuss the effects of colonialism and neo-colonialism in Africa. It will be an opportunity to learn the African history, where we are now and through deliberations, we shall begin to craft the way forward for Africa with a better understanding.

The objectives of this conference will be to inform, educate and share knowledge and experiences which in the long run will help to craft the way forward for Africa by changing the narrative. We encourage people of good will and who wish to see positive change in Africa to come together and offer solutions to problems created by colonialism and are being created by neo-colonialism.

Africa can never be free with the big yoke of terrible colonial past, exploitation and indebtedness round its neck. It will be a great forum bringing together academicians, historians, leaders and other experts in different fields with key focus to the aforementioned topical issues.
