King Charles has wished Prince Harry a Happy 40th Birthday, via the official Royal Family X account.

King Charles has wished Prince Harry a Happy 40th Birthday, via social media. The 75-year-old monarch and his wife, Harry's stepmother Queen Camilla, shared a message on their official Royal Family X account on Sunday (09.15.24) to mark the Duke of Sussex's milestone birthday.

The message said: "Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!" and it added a cake emoji. The post also included a photograph of a smiling Prince Harry.

The picture was taken in 2018, during Harry's visit with his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex to the 'Digital Docklands' in Dublin. Harry's brother William and his wife Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, reposted the message on their own X account and wrote: "Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to the Duke of Sussex!"

Harry is set to celebrate his birthday privately in Montecito, California, with Meghan, 43, and their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

Meanwhile, Charles is expected to call Harry to wish him a Happy Birthday.

According to the Sunday Express: "The King will reach out to Harry on his birthday. Although the family are not as close as they once were, there is still a lot of love there.

"They tend to use Skype when they communicate because they can see each other and it's all set up by staff so it runs smoothly."

Relations have been strained between Harry and his family ever since he quit the Royal Family in 2020 and went on to make a number of scathing revelations about them in tell-all interviews and his memoir 'Spare'.

However, he flew to the UK to see his father after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.  By Bang Premier
