Campbell Scott was found dead in a forest in February, 2025, days after going missing in the capital, Nairobi. Kenyan detectives have arrested four men in connection with the death of a Scottish businessman whose body was found tied up in a sack.

Campbell Scott was found dead in a forest in February, 2025, days after going missing in the capital, Nairobi, where he had been attending a conference.

Investigators believe that the senior director at credit-scoring firm Fico was tortured before his hands were tied and his body was stuffed in a bag packed with pineapples.

The death is being treated as murder, and two suspects have already appeared in court as part of the inquiry. Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations has confirmed that a further four men have been apprehended in connection with the death.

The gang are also linked to a number of other violent robberies, including an incident involving an American national. Following a search of the property a number of stolen items including an HP laptop, mobile phones, assorted foreign currencies, multiple credit cards, cheque books from various banks and PDQ machines, were recovered.

All four men are in custody at Nyali Police Station pending further investigations. STV News
