The East African Community (EAC) has confirmed plans to construct the 200-kilometre Kenya–Uganda Expressway. The project will be financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB) through the NEPAD Infrastructure Project Preparation.
The expressway is expected to cut travel time, ease congestion, and improve regional connectivity, supporting the EAC’s broader goal. The East African Community (EAC) has confirmed the development of the multinational Kenya–Uganda Expressway.
