Speaking during the launch of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya manifesto at Nyayo Stadium on Monday, June 7, Raila announced that he will carry out an economic revolution, social transformation, and good governance reforms during that period.

Under the economic revolution, the ODM party boss promised to introduce a minimum return guarantee framework for all farmers, further promising that his administration will initiate innovation in the sector.

In targeting the youth, the ODM boss promised a 7-year tax holiday for them with the aim of creating employment for the majority who are unemployed.

Various jua kali groups will also benefit in the first 100 days as the Azimio candidate promised to procure house building items from them as he undertakes the affordable housing project.

"Procure and promote Made in Kenya products, Buy Kenya Build Kenya and give incentives to Kenyans including those in the diaspora and foreigners to invest in the manufacturing sector," read the manifesto in part.

However, he noted that public debt had become a burden to many Kenyans, promising to work with lenders and financial institutions on ways to restructure the country's debt.

Most notably under the social transformation, Raila promised to ensure that the Ksh6,000 cash transfer to over two million Kenyans is implemented in his first days in office. Additionally, he stated that he will create employment for the youth through the revival of the Kazi Mtaani program that was launched by President Uhuru Kenyatta during his second term.

Under Baba Care, Raila promised to provide all retiring civil servants with medical cover even as he stated that they will prioritise primary health care.

"Integrating and giving greater recognition to community health workers as partners at the grassroots level as a cost-effective way to extend health services to hard - to reach areas, last-mile approach to healthcare," read the manifesto in part.

Additionally, the Azimio candidate promised to absorb all trained teachers who have not been employed.

Under the good governance program, Raila promised to improve on the salaries of the police and officers of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).

In a bid to rebuild the relationship between the police and the citizens, Raila promised to assign at least six officers in every station who will be assigned to handle matters to deal with the youth.

"Ensure the strict implementation of police reforms as envisaged in the constitution, and establish a framework for rolling out the Virtual Police Station model."

He also stated that he will declare corruption a threat to National Security, promising that state employees in his administration will not be allowed to do business with the government.

"The appointees and elected members shall take moral and political responsibility for any misconduct in their dockets and also disclose their financial interests during their term in office."

Further, he stated that he would create a fast-track model to ensure that all corruption cases are prosecuted and finished on time.
