Ugandan General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has said that he will become the President of Uganda, after his father Yoweri Museveni.
According to Muhoozi, he will make Uganda a great country as God wants it to be.
The Ugandan first son went on to say that his opponents will be very disappointed after he becomes head of state.
"I will be President of Uganda after my father. Those fighting the truth will be very disappointed!!! I will organise and make our country great as Almighty God always intended it to be," he said.
This is not the first time Muhoozi has talked about taking over the reigns of Uganda after President Museveni.
In October 2022, he said the only way he can repay his mother is by becoming President of Uganda.
"The only way I can re-pay my great mother is by being President of Uganda! And I shall do it!" he said.
This is part of his continued Twitter 'outbursts' on taking over after his father Yoweri Museveni, while at the same time putting the Ugandan opposition on notice.
In the same month, Muhoozi told off the Ugandan opposition saying that they cannot match his might.
Muhoozi expressed confidence that the opposition under musician-cum politician Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine will never lead the country upon his father's retirement.
"To the Ugandan opposition, after my father, I will defeat you badly in any election. Ugandans love me more than they'll ever love you," he said. By Brian Oruta, The Star
