A Sudanese man has been charged in connection with the deaths of four migrants who drowned trying to cross the Channel.
Alnour Mohamed Ali, also known as Elnoor Mohamed Ali, was charged last night (Friday, April 10) with endangering another during a journey by sea to the UK.
Two men and two women died as they attempted to climb on to a so called “taxi boat” at Equihen-Plage, near Boulogne-sur-Mer, on Thursday morning (April 9).
