Kenya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has told Kenyans caught in the conflict in Middle East countries pitting the US, Iran and Israel to take precaution. US and Israel launched massive strikes on Iran with President Trump calling for regime. 

Its been reported that an Israel strike hit an elementary girls School in Minab, killing dozens of people. Iran has since retaliated with Qatar reporting that it successfully shot down all the missiles Iran fired at the Gulf state before they entered its airspace.

International travel through the region has been affected with several airlines cancelling flights. Kenya's Foreign Affairs Secretary said that the government was monitoring the situation.

Following the conflict, several countries have shut their airspace with those who were in transit caught within the region. Its unclear how long the conflict will last. Countries directly affected are Iran, Israel, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, UAE and Syria.
