Fighting has erupted in Sudanese Capital Khartoum. Heavy gunfire has been heard within the presidential palace.  This comes after days of tension between the Rapid Support  Forces  Paramilitary and the Army.

Rapid Support Forces Paramilitary says the Army has attacked its base in Soba South of Khartoum. The Army said the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), had happened without coordination and were seen as illegal. Both parties had told mediators that they were willing to de-escalate.
